Women: Get More from your Treadmill!
Ladies – are you still working on that New Year’s Resolution to
lose weight or get in shape? Whether you’re still going strong or need a bit of
a shove in the right direction, consider upgrading your workout routine to
include a treadmill!

Some people don’t enjoy the monotony of running in place, so try
to vary your routine. These
ideas may help you keep some spice in your life!
Watching
TV: If you like to watch television while you work out, try varying
your workout with your programming. Take your pace up to a run for commercials,
and jog or walk briskly during your shows.
Mimic
Hiking: If you are pining for the great outdoors, let your treadmill take
you on a hike! Some treadmills have pre-programmed hiking trails, or you can
control the incline yourself. Remember to discuss your maximum heart rate with
your womens
healthcare provider for safety reasons.
Double
Up!: If you only have time for a quick workout, bring some dumbbells
with you on your walk! The number of different arm exercises you can do while
walking is vast!
